Bright colored t-shirts and bold new designers.
Custom print clothing and cutting edge styles.
Brown paper packages tied up with strings.
These are a few of my favorite things.
I love promoting local designers, handmade and locally sources products, and creative pursuits in general. So when my artistically gifted cousin, Brian Swimme, started his own custom apparel line - Swimmewear - I was understandably excited. And when I read the artist statement for the apparel line - "Be a work of art." - I got even more excited. Here's a pic of my cousin hard at work on the screen press.

Swimmewear got it's start in San Francisco art shows and has grown from there. The basic goal of Swimmewear is to create wearable art and unique and individual pieces.
Here are a few of my favorite designs from the online store. And the next time you are in the market for a custom designed and artistic piece of wearable art, you will know where to go!

IRAGE Tank - perfect for attending a concert or underground show.

Bob Shirt - this shirt exudes funk, picturing this with a bright leather jacket and skinnies.

Audrey Shirt (front and back) - what a style icon...this shirt is my fave.

Imagination Shirt (front and back) - great quote, beautiful design.

Boardin' Shorts - rip it up in red.

Check out Swimmewear on Facebook and if you live in the greater San Francisco area, you can get a preview of Swimmewear designs at "Beast Mode," An Epic Art Exhibition, where there will be a Swimmewear fashion show and special artist line unveiling.
