For all you fashionistas who want to amp up your fiesta attire and need a little inspiration, I give you BellJar. BellJar's Spring 2012 Collection is Mexican fashion at its finest. BellJar owner, Sasha Darling, drew inspiration for this collection from Frida Kahlo. Frida is an emblem of strength (through physical weakness), bold expression, perseverance, and Mexican pride.
More than anything, I am taken by the color combinations in this collection. Bright red lips, stacks of multicolored necklaces, and floral hairpieces punctuate the beautiful pieces and bring a sense of Mexican strength and flair to the forefront.
Doesn't this make you a little bit more excited to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?! Pay homage to Mexican culture with a bright ensemble, read up on the history of this celebration, grab a margarita, and enjoy!
