Safari Style

In a little over a week the BF and I are headed to Kenya for a photo safari with his fam and I am SO SO SO excited!  I thought I would dedicate this post to African inspired style to get me in the planning mode (although I am pretty sure my look will be a little more REI backpacker and a little less haute couture, but a girl can...and will dream).

ASOS AFRICA's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection has me in absolute awe.  Bright tropical colors, animal prints, and authentic Kenyan kanga prints characterize this collection and what I love most is that the collection is produced in collaboration with SOKO Kenya, which helps underprivileged communities establish local business through local craftmanship.  What a fabulous partnership of fashion and function!
